It's like an ottoman, but topped with grass

This is one of those day dreaming ideas I figured wouldn't be too hard to keep simmering on the side burner while working on other things. I don't know how grass and other ground covering grows inside without the elements strengthening their structure, so this is a small test to determine viability. I would like to explore the possibility of replacing a rug with a equally-sized box of grass on the floor or topping an ottoman.

The first ground covering I acquired wasn't actually real moss as advertised, so the plants died when I cut through the root systems. I ripped everything out and restarted with just grass seed. More to come!
