During my adventures, things can get awry.
I tried really hard to save it, but the chip was fried from ESD :(
The LPD8806 strips have terrible design and materials. The pads lift so easily off the PCB, and debugging was tedious. Sometimes it was a bad trace, sometimes is was a bad component, which required soldering a new section into the strip.
I needed someone to hold some components I was working on, but my little helper already had his hands full.
The cord for the rice cooker got misplaced during the last move, so I have to improvise with RC power cables. I was surprised how well the cables handled the load.
